A big thanks to all our recent donors, Lionburger customers, and new members!
We accept cans and bottles for Recycling at Bottledrop. If you want, we can provide special non-profit Blue bags for your contribution. Proceeds from the collection are passed to the West Linn Food Pantry. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit so contributions can be tax deductible. Bring your bottles and cans to our regular Plastics Recycling collection event, coordinate with a Club member, or contact us on this website to find out how you can contribute.
Each February we give thanks for the generous support from the community for all our activities in the form of a Sausage and Kraut Dinner. Dinner festivities include a great German band (including the famous Chicken Dance!), dancing, communing with family/friends/acquaintances, and, of course, our celebrated sausage and kraut dinner. We feature Mt. Angel sausage, Lions made sauerkraut from local cabbage, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls, and apple strudel.
All this fun is at Resurrection Church community hall at Stafford Rd. and I205. Check our February Calendar for times.
Dinner tickets are available online or from Club members January through the night of the dinner. Tickets are $10 each and children under 8 are free.
Support local high school seniors and enjoy wine!
For more than a decade, we annually raffle locally donated wine in November to the general public in support of scholarships to West Linn seniors bound for higher education. Local wineries donate wine through our 501(c)(3) Lions Foundation of West Linn. A key component of our success has been the Club covering all expenses, so every dollar raised goes directly to scholarships.
Raffle tickets are available online or from Club members in August through November. Tickets are $10 each or 11 for $100 (1 ticket is free). Cash contributions are encouraged with confirmation available for tax purposes.
Good luck to all!
If you prefer not to buy a ticket but would like to support our high school senior scholarships, use the Donate button below. Any donation is greatly appreciated by the scholarship recipients.
This year the Club offers wine to at least 36 raffle winners. Drawing is the night of the first Thursday in November. You need not be present to win. The winners will be notified that night or the next day with instructions on picking up your wine the following Saturday.
We are best known for our “Lionburgers“. Generations have enjoyed our grilled burgers at community/school events throughout the spring, summer, and fall. It is one of our major sources of funds. Check out the table below to see where we will be serving those “Lionburgers” next. Or, watch for our road signs.
Remember all proceeds from the sale are returned to deserving community organizations. Stop by and say hello to your favorite Lions volunteers.
